With a push for prayer, the elders plan to fast the first Wednesday of every month before our Elder’s meeting. We encourage anyone who can to get behind us and fast with us on those days. The type or timing of your fast is not as important as the purpose of the fast which would be to intentionally pray for your pastors. Pray the Scriptures as a whole for us as pastors (1 Tim. 3, Titus 1, 1 Pet. 5, 1 Thes. 5, Eph. 5 etc). Pray the fruits of the Spirit in particular for us (Gal. 5:16-26). Pray for RBC, and that the Lord would direct/empower this Church to go exactly where we need to go, together.
